While travelling, tourists can also try to make a social impact by joining the Street Feeders of KL at Central Market. There are travelers who actually get to roll up their sleeves, meet the locals, and work together towards community betterment by offering homeless friends food and conversations. The programme takes place every alternate Wednesdays from 9pm, open to everyone, and just be at Central Market wearing a white shirt before joining the rest of the feeders. This experience would serve as a realization that you’ve gained so much more than an ordinary traveler would have and you’ll get to see more than the highlights of Kuala Lumpur.
