PS150, THE CHINATOWN’S HIDDEN BAR

Well hidden inside a pre-war shophouse that was once a brothel in Chinatown, PS150 sets itself apart from other bars with its concept. The interior is divided into three different sections, marking three distinct eras in the history of Indochina and cocktail. Since its establishment, this bar has become one of Kuala Lumpur’s hippest bars that becomes hangout nest among nightbirds.

Other than cocktails, PS150 also serves up a lot of culture historic memories and amazing tales. Each drink has its own tale, having been created or modified as a connected effort by all involved in their alchemy. They also create a vintage toy shop facade to conceal the entrance which leads to an airy outdoor terrace that eventually wrapped up in a dramatic and atmospheric bar in the depths of the shop.

NIGHT LIGHTS AT MERDEKA SQUARE

Spare your time and go enjoy the spectacular night view of Merdeka Square buildings embellished with glittering lights all over the places. The square is surrounded by many historical buildings in Kuala Lumpur such as the Old KL Train Station, Galeri Kuala Lumpur, Royal Selangor Club Complex, and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Many people often come here just to chill out and breathing in the cool night breeze after a busy day at work. Besides, the wide and green field beside the square makes it a good picnic spot and a spacious playground for kids. You could also enjoy street performances illuminated by stunning lights here at nights on most days. It is called as Dataran Merdeka because Malayan flag was first hoisted here in 1957 which is on the Independence day of Malaysia while ‘Merdeka’ means freed or independent.

NO BLACK TIE | KUALA LUMPUR

Enjoy jazz, funk and groove at No Black Tie, KL’s leading jazz bar.
