Setia City Mall is indeed one of the better organized shopping malls in the Klang Valley. The mall itself isn’t big when compared to the likes of the Mid-valley shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur or the One-Utama Shopping Centre in Bandar Utama. Nevertheless, Setia City Mall has a pleasant and well-planned layout.
Nearly everything you want to find can be found here. There’s a Harvey Norman outlet, Daiso, Parkson departmental store, a full-fledged supermarket, and many food outlets. There’s even a GSC cineplex inside the mall.
A great feature is that parking is free for two hours from Mondays to Fridays. That makes it a great place to shop or watch a movie. During weekends, one can just shop leisurely without having to experience the maddening crowd.
Located in the upcoming and bustling township of Setia Alam, the mall can be considered isolated in a sense that it is “far” from Petaling Jaya (about 30km away). However, the mall attracts its patrons from the nearby vicinity as well as Klang.
